My Latest Obsession: Lululemon ‘High Times’ Pant

Lululemon vs Old Navy Active Wear

Like many girls my age, I live in leggings. I have a horrible relationship with jeans and probably will until it is no longer appropriate for me to go out in public in just leggings. Some of my favorite leggings for a great price are from Old Navy. They are great for every day as they aren’t low rise or see-through. I do own a few pairs of Lululemon leggings. They are an investment at an average price of $88 but they are worth it. They last a long time and fit amazing. Recently, I discovered they had come out with a high-waisted legging that hit right at the ankle with no bunching. They are everything I’ve ever wanted in a pair of leggings and more!

Lululemon High Times Pant

In the picture from the Lululemon website (above), the pants hit the model just below the belly button and a few inches above the ankle. I am 5′ 4″ so this is not the case for me. These leggings reach far above my belly button and hit right below my ankle. I love these leggings for a few reasons: I never have to worry about pulling up my leggings or wearing a short shirt and having my stomach show. I definitely need a few more pairs of these! I highly recommend these!

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation Review

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation

I have been searching for the perfect full-coverage foundation since middle school. Unfortunately, I don’t have the greatest skin. My skin-type is oily in the T-zone and dry everywhere else. I also have some scaring and an uneven skin tone. Thankfully, I decided to try the Smashbox Studio Skin hydrating foundation. It was a total game changer for me. I went from using ten different concealers to rarely ever needing one.

This foundation goes on smooth and does not feel too heavy. It is a liquid foundation that comes in a pump bottle. I apply the foundation with a flat top brush, using a stippling motion, or a damp beautyblender sponge. The foundation is long lasting (15 hour wear) and stays in place.

After prepping my skin with moisturizer and primer, I go straight to using the foundation. It covers any redness or discoloration so the only necessary concealer for me is under eye concealer, which saves me so much time in the morning. Before using this foundation, it seemed like I was covering my entire face in concealer regardless of how much foundation I was using.

Overall, this is my favorite foundation so far. It is light weight, long-lasting, and full-coverage. One issue with this foundation is the limited color choices, with a total of 12 shades. I have light to medium skin and I use one of the lightest shades offered. The other issue with this foundation is the price. The 1 oz bottle costs $42.00 and usually only lasts me about two months. It is a great product but definitly a little pricy for a college student!

I am always on the lookout for product dupes and am hoping to find one for this product soon! What’s your favorite foundation? Comment below!
